Sotheby's International Realty has been selected to help the U.S. Forest Service sell property at the Bridger Teton National Forest Supervisor's administrative site in Jackson.
The forest wants to sell 10 acres of the approximately 15 acre North Cache site.
Jay Kornoff, of Jackson, will represent the interest of the government to create market interest and locate potential buyers.
"We are pleased to have a real estate broker with local experience on board to assist in selling the 10-acre site," said Acting Forest Supervisor Cheryl Probert.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to reconstruct facilities including a remodel of the Forest Supervisor's Office and warehouse. The forest also wants to convert the current Jackson District Office into housing for temporary employees.
Additional facilities will be constructed at the Cottonwood Administrative site.
