Iconic grocery store torn down in Idaho Falls
The Saving Center grocery store in Idaho Falls is being demolished. It's located on the corner of Memorial Drive and Broadway Avenue.
The property is owned by the man who also operated the grocery store. For the last several years, the building has been uninhabitable.
It is being torn down so the lot can have new life, possibly from a new owner. There are not any plans for its future as of yet.
The Saving Center signs are iconic, but the star sign was demolished with the building. The arrow on the corner will stay, however.
