The Fish and Game Department generated a lot of excitement at the state fair Thursday. They showcased their new laser hunting games.
Inside their booth, people of all ages were able to shoot laser rifles at fake wild game. Although the laser games got most of the attention, that's not the only thing that was new.
The booth also showcased a large fish tank with native fish from the region. They also had a huge television where people were able to view wildlife videos.
Fish and Game conservation officials say whatever the reason, they seemed to get a great deal of attention.
"From what I've heard it's been a popular exhibit this year we've been running a lot of people through it. It seems like we got a good response," they said.
