IDAHO FALLS, Idaho -

Alice Cooper's Idaho Falls concert has been canceled.

Pinnacle Entertainment canceled the rocker's scheduled appearance at the Idaho Falls Civic Auditorium, the talent agency said Monday.

Pinnacle blamed the cancellation of the Nov. 6 concert on the promoter's failure to meet basic contractual obligations. The talent agency said ticket holders can return their tickets to where they bought them for a refund.

In Idaho Falls, CD World manager James Larsen said he has sold a large number of tickets for the event. He identified the promoter as 78 Productions, owned by Ryan Thueson.

Larsen was told Thueson had an illness that affected his ability to promote the concert.

He said money for the tickets CD World sold has been refunded by 78 Productions and is now refunding tickets to those who bought from them.

Cooper was born Vincent Damon Furnier. He describes himself on his Facebook page as a "rock 'n' roll legend, hall of famer and all-around scary guy."
