Weather causes rash of crashes

A motorhome rolled over on I-15 southbound near Blackfoot on March 22, 2013.

BLACKFOOT, Idaho -

Weather related traffic accidents were keeping emergency crews busy in eastern Idaho early Friday.

On Interstate 15 southbound near Blackfoot, a motorhome rolled over at milepost 100. At milepost 101, six vehicles were involved in a crash. As of 11:15 a.m., the roadway in that direction had been reduced to one lane.

Idaho State Police also reported a single-vehicle rollover on Interstate 15 south of milepost 67.
In Pocatello, starting at 7 a.m., police were dealing with accidents at Olympus and Bench along Pocatello Creek, Johnny Creek and Bannock Highway, Clark and 18th, 1500 Pocatello Creek, and Yellowstone and Flandro -- all within an hour.
Three more accidents were under investigation in Chubbuck.
