Businesses burglarized in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho -

Two burglaries occurred early Sunday morning at businesses in the 700 block of South Woodruff and the 1800 block of East First Street.

The suspect is believed to be the same individual in both crimes, police said Monday.

Idaho Falls police responded to an alarm at Dr. Jason M. Peterson’s office at 1980 E. First St. around 5 a.m. An unknown person broke into the building through a window. The suspect left prior to police arrival, taking a small amount of cash.

Around 6 a.m., police were dispatched to an alarm at Idaho Urgent Care at 740 S. Woodruff Ave. The suspect broke a window and gained entry into the building. It was reported that the suspect stole a laptop computer
