Chubbuck and Pocatello police have arrested three persons in connection with a spree of vehicle burglaries and car thefts Wednesday.
Jacob Quarve, 22, of Pocatello, was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and possession of a controlled substance. Quarve was also charged with burglary in Pocatello. Rachel Citso, 22, of Pocatello, was charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. And Linda Hernandez, 26, of Pocatello, was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and providing false information to police.
Chubbuck police stopped a vehicle in front of Lowe's that was involved in two burglaries and a stolen vehicle from Herberger's. Pocatello police said Quarve ran away on foot until police and K9 officers found him. At the time of his capture at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday on the 500 block of Bullock Street, police said he was attempting to commit another vehicle burglary in the parking lot of Texas Roadhouse.
Chubbuck police said they began receiving reports of vehicle break-ins across the city around 10 a.m. Wednesday. They also received two separate reports of vehicles being stolen.
Police said they had multiple witnesses who obtained license numbers and good descriptions of the suspects.
One of the stolen vehicles was recovered and returned to its owner.
Chubbuck police said all of the thefts, except one, targeted vehicles that were left unlocked with the keys inside.
